What is SAND ?

SAND is a Python module that simplifies the downloading of satellite data from various providers. It acts as a unified proxy for executing API requests, with a minimal dependency footprint suitable for production pipelines.

Installation

Quickstart

The following example searches for and downloads LANDSAT acquisitions from USGS :

from sand.constraint import Time, Geo
from datetime import datetime

# Initialize provider
dl = DownloadUSGS('LANDSAT-5-TM', level=1)

# Search
results = dl.query(

Configuration

Tous les providers utilisent le fichier ~/.netrc pour l’authentification :
